Hey Tom,
Your sis directed me to your blog. I enjoy delving into the depths of other human noggins.
I have been reading through a select few last night and this eve. Your memoirs are entertaining. Your candidness is refreshing. Your transparency helps me see the real you.

I enjoy seeing a glimpse into another life, in a far off land. It helps make the world smaller..when even my own family feels far away..only a few hours away. I cannot imagine how much harder it has been for you- knowing a great span of time, distance and cost separates you in one place or another from your loved ones.

This is my favourite line in the above..."I was too busy making my own noise to listen". I seems to be an epidemic of our society. Happy you are one of the few breaking free of all the noise- to hear the depth and truths of your own thoughts and the world that digests us.
